Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Son’s Review

Summary: The movie is about this poor family that can't make a living. Charlie’s family gets him a chocolate bar for his birthday and he was lucky and got a golden ticket. The Golden ticket meant that he could go to Willy Wonka's factory . Willy Wonka's factory is the place that makes all the chocolate bars. Charlie and his grandpa go to the factory and they were the ones that were least rotten and won the special prize. The special prize was the factory, but Charlie had to give up his whole family and Charlie said no. Willy Wonka's “family” are oompa loompas. Later Charlie meets Wonka again and tells him how important it is to have a family. Wonka later lets Charlie and his family come to live in the factory.

Favorite Character: Willy Wonka

Favorite Scene: My favorite scene is when Willy Wonka is talking to the kids in the factory and tells them that everything in the room is edible and even he is edible and he says that is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most countries.

Thing I Would Change: I don't have anything that I would change.

Rating: 5 out of 5
